Created with Fabric.js 1.4.5 HOW TO BE THE HEALTHIEST VERSION OF YOURSELF DON'T attempt to lose weight if you're already exercising regularly and eating balanced meals. Striving to be healthier and losing weight are not synonymous. LOOK AT nutrition labels. Check to see if the beverage or food product you wishto purchase has vitamins and other energy-boosting minerals. If a product doesn't offer much in the way of nutrition, consider buying an alternate brand. AVOID looking at nutrition labels to check calorie quantity. There are manyhealthy foods that might be higher in calories. (Besides, calories are actually an important source of body fuel!) EXERCISE regularly! It's good for your health, and it can help you manage stress and anxiety. But don't stress if you can't always make it to the gym. Remember that exercising excessively (or developing a fixation with exercise) is a sign of disordered eating. MAKE your eating habits an additive process. Incorporate more fruits, vegetables, and salads into your everyday diet. Also, learn what yummy foods you can add toyour diet to make it more balanced. RECOGNIZE that everyone has different natural body shapes. Some studies evensuggest that every individual has a unique preset weight range. Staying within (not under, or over) this range is optimal for health purposes. So, focus on being the healthiest version of YOU. ASK YOURSELF if you want to lose weight for healthy reasons. It's very easy inour culture to conflate health and slenderness. If you're feeling external or internal pressure to lose weight in order to conform to someone's beauty ideal, stop and reflect.
