It’s far away in west from Chile for 3,600 km,and it also far away from the nearest island for 2,000 km.We can said that Easter Island don’t contact to another country or island. - 1680 – War of long ear clan and short ear clan. Short ear clan has less people, but short ear clan wins. Then short ear clan destroy long ear clan *statue*. After that they have many wars.- 1722 – Dutch traveler found Easter Island in Sunday, Easter day. He founded that Easter Island has 2 clans.- 1770 – Spain sailor travel from Peru to Easter Island and he founded that there were about 3,000 persons on the island.- 1774 – Captain James cook travel to this island and founded that there were 600 – 700 persons on the island.In that amount of people there were 30 women. They believe that they ate women and kids.- Begin of 19 century – People in island are increasing.- 1862 – Peru took 1,000 men on the island to be slave on Peru.- 1862 (few months later) – Peru bring 15 men back to the island.That 15 men bring something back with them. They bring smallpox back with them. People in the island doesn’t immune, so many people die by smallpox. People in easter island didn’t note about their daily life, so we don’t know where they escape from(We think that people on easter island are escape from somewhere else.). - 1888 – Easter island connect to Chile country. After that people are increasing. Moai is a stone human statue, but head part are more huge. Moai are founded in easter island for 600 statue. Moai is a statue that people in easter island believe that moai will protect soul of important person in the clan. Moai are made from one huge basalt rock from Rano Raraku vocano.They founded that they were 400 almost finish moai around the volcano.We think people in island was escape, and almost all moai around are all fall.We think people in island make it fall. Some of moai has a hat on his head,we call it Pukao. Pukao is another hudge rock that people on easter island put it on. Each moai will tall about 3.5 meter and more.Do you confuse how they can put a huge rock higher than 3.5 meter.This is a picture about theory that people on easter island put pukao on moai head. Second theory is tire log with Moai. Then put 2 logs. After that stick it together to make angle. After that tire 2 ropes one angle and Moai neck another is rope for pull.3. Third is tire rope on Moai head and one side of Moai body. Then pull rope that tire on side of Moai forward to make it move.4. Fourth is a tire 2 log on Moai foot. Then put many logs all the way to that place. Then tire rope on Moai head. Then let Moai fall by pull back to make it slow.5. Fifth is a tire 3 rope on 3 side including left, right and back. Then pull back Moai body a little bit to make 14 degree forward angle. Then pull left switch right to make it walk. Age of bronze 2800 BCSometime people founded copper and tin together. That made a accident that made people know “Bronze”. People accidently melt a tin and copper together and they made a bronze. They find out that bronze sword is stronger and it has a sharper edge than a copper very much.Bronze has first developed in the middle east. Bronze was used in Sumer, in Ur and in Anatolia in about 2800 BC. Indus valley in 2500 BC. Europe people start used bronze in 2000 BC. At the same time china used bronze too but they made a not perfect work.Metal has the most valuable and easy to transport. In 3000 BC Cyprus was very rich because they had many copper. �
