Created with Fabric.js 1.4.5 Carbon Footprint Ecological Footprint Water Footprint If everyone lived like me, we'd need 5.7 Planet Earths to provide enough resources. The amount of Carbon Dioxide i emit is 19 tons a year. This was way more than what i expected and it made me realize all the harm i was causing the earth. 0 2 4 6 8 Home Energy Driving and Flying Food and Diet Recycling and Waste -This graph shows how much Carbon Dioxide i am emitting in each category. As you can see i produce the most Carbon Dioxide from Driving and Flying because of my trips to Japan every year. Knowing that for me, driving and flying produces the most Carbon Dioxide i think if i convinced me parents to only go to Japan every 2 years it would help a lot. If i asked a friend to carpool to school everyday that would decrease my CO2 emission too. To reduce the amount of resources i use i could unplug any electronics i'm not using and anytime i am going to leave a room for more than 10 min i can turn all the lights off in that room. I can also only buy clothes when i need to. I can start taking the bus home when i can. 0 500 1000 1500 2000 2500 3000 Home Diet Energy Stuff All -This pie chart represents how my Ecological Footprint breaks down. Red - Food(13%), Orange - Shelter(16%), Yellow - Mobility(22%), Green - Goods(14%), Blue - Services(35%). Services took up most of my Ecological Footprint. -This chart shows how much water i use in each category. The light blue represents my water consumption(gallons/day) and the dark blue represents the average water consumption in the U.S. I use 2,001 gallons of water a day. This is below the U.S. average but i still need major improvements in my consumption of water everyday. To reduce the mount of water i use everyday i can take shorter showers and time myself to make sure that i am under 7 min every time. I also take 2 showers a day because of sports so i can limit that amount to just one shower a day.
