Created with Fabric.js 1.4.5 Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product? I have learnt to use softwares such as What technical skills have you developed? Indesign and Photoshop confidently to create my final product. I learnt to use new features of the softwares and used them effectively to make my magazine look professional. I learnt how to use different features on cameras for my images on my magazine and am now aware how to pose your model for particular situations and genre's. Finally I can now edit my images to increase how professional they look and make them fit the audience you are trying to reach. What design skills have you developed? I have now learnt the importance of features on magazines such as; Cover line, Masthead and Main Images. I developed the skill of being able to work out what what I should follow and challenge that would be most suited for my target and beneficial for my magazine. I was able to understand the importance of the codes of conventions, this is because without following or challenging the right ones the design of will not be as effective. I learnt how to download different fonts and use various different colours. I started to decide on colours that would work well together, that I would be able to use throughout my magazine as house style is important to a magazine. What research and planning skills have you learned? From doing my college magazine to creating the real thing I learnt a lot about research and planning. I used current well known magazines and looked at them to see what they did and what made them effective. The more I researched the more features I found- which I then included in my my final product. Throughout my planning process I learnt not everything stays the way planned and a lot differs dependent on the images, sizing of text and even colours and amounts of text.
