However, even with proper treatment, mood changes can occur. Anyone can get bipolar disorder but it is most common for people with a family member who has it to get it. Causes- Scientists are studying the possible causes of bipolar disorder.Most scientists agree that there is no single cause. Someone with Bipolar Disorder will have unusual and extreme changes in mood, behavior, and energy levels every day that last most of the day, for at least a week at a time. This change in mood and behavior is very likely to be noticeable to family, friends, co-workers, and teachers.
