They are a great thing to use, but are they always gonna be a good idea? They are still using their textbooks, but are using their tablets for most of their work. -more students want to do work because it's on an iPad. -more students want to do their work because it's on an iPad -more space for multiple education apps -electronic books cost less than paper back books, so schools are saving money -grades go down because students get too caught up in games or social medias -easy to break -causes headaches, eyestrain, and blurred vision -students get distracted by emails and games -iPad or tablet could freeze or get hacked which can cost a lot of money 2011-2012, more than 13,700 students from the US had to go to hospitals and doctor offices because of back related injuries due to heavy backpacks. Many students have received Computer Vision Syndrome which causes eye strain, headaches, blurred vision, dry eyes, and a skeletal disorder called "text neck" which is caused from looking down at a mobile device to often causing neck and shoulder pain.
