American elites still deal with sharia as just a religious system, when in fact it is as totalitarian a political program as ever were those of communism, fascism, national socialism, or Japanese imperialism. "Just last week we saw another example of creeping Christian Sharia Law with a bill passed by Kansas House of Representatives that would allow people and businesses to deny services to same sex couples if it violated their religious beliefs. It seems that IslamicShari'a Law is not alone; the Bible can act in the same wayand be used in politics and lawmaking.
