Their prioritised direction towards safety has earned them the trust of their dedicated customers of the course of nearly a century. Its elegant yet classic style attracts a wide customer base from the working class to the elite. Also the organisations unique view in regards to driving experience is one of the most appreciated services, innnovations such as driving analytics to improve experience for the average road user. (Mbaskool.com, 2015)Weaknesses: One of the main weaknesses that Volvo as an organisation face is that their market share is always going to be limited due to the presence of huge giants within the sector such as general motors and big german engineering giants such as Audi, BMW & Mercedes-Benz.Opportunities: The main fruitful opportunities that lay present to Volvo lay in terms of the fact the market size of automobiles is going to be ever expanding as the population of the human race expands at an alarmingly consistent rate, and also the transition to electric cars now brings an enitrely new sector of the market to attention. Threats: As mentioned in the weaknesses section of this analysis; the threat of automobile giants such as GM, Toyota, Nisasn and Chrylser group mean that Volvo has to be constantly on its toes and be as proactive in its competitive activies as it can. This is where the advantages of cloud data storage can come into play. A cloud based storage solution would allow Volvo to expand efficiency in certain areas of their company such as BI and Software Development, which i'm sure could be of use while their innovation of globally connected cars is in production.
