Description and justification:Emphysema is a COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. This disease damages the wallsof alveoli. This cause that thewalls of alveoli collapse, o thealveoli join together creating one larger air space instead of many small ones.So the person can not breath well. The main cause of this disease is smoke. The damage of this disease is irreversable. Respiratory System Plan:What she should do?-Not smoke-Avoid environmental pollution-Bronchodilator drugtreatment.-Oxygen therapy.What we can do to prevent this disease?We can make good lifestyle choices:-Don't smoke, also passivesmoking.-Visit your doctor if you haveproblems to breath.-Avoid enviromental pollution that causes emphysema.. Evidence:My mother has a friend who used to smoke to much,she had been smoking since she was a teenager. She would smoke a 1 pack or more of cigarettes in a day . When she was 43 she got tired very fast and can not breathwell every time she exercise. She is thin, but in the last days she started to lose weight. So she decidedto go to the doctor. Then the doctor said to her andto her family that she had been diagnostic with emphysema and the damage is irreversible That the only thing she can do is to take some actions, that helpthe disease not to get worse.
