You're someone I'd like to call a "Selfless Proctor." Just like him, you'd be the person to go out of your way to defend the wives of your friends in the Salem Witch Trials. Being selfless was definitely one of Proctor's strengths, and lucky for you, you possess the same one. While being questioned of "other witches, "Proctor once said,"They think to go like saints. I like not to spoil their names." Proctor wanted to remain having a clear conscious, even if it meant death. Because of his selflessness, it in turn, resulted in a major loss: his life. You're the kind of person who is willing to put everything on the line for their loved ones. You go, "Selfless Proctor"! Look at you, Honest Abe, or should I say, "Honest Proctor." Honesty was one of Proctor'spredominant strengths, and it looks like it's yours as well. In "The Crucible", Proctor has an affair with Abigail, a young Salem woman. When questioned in court about the incident, Proctor proclaims, "I have known her, sir. I have known her!" Just like you, Proctor is willing to give up all he has, his pride, his life, in order to remain truthful, even if its not the most convienient time or place. With such a great strength, it's hard to imagine a loss that could follow, but Proctor sure did experience one. When Proctor's wife, Elizabeth, was questioned about the affair, she denied it, trying to save his name, but it, in turn, made Proctor look like a liar, and he was accused of being the "devil's man." However; in most cases honesty is the best quality to have, so you do you, "Honest Proctor!" When looking at magazines in the checkout line, which one do you snatch up first? the ones with best advice the ones with the hottest, most exposed modelson them Hey! It could be worse! Being a "Lustful Proctor" isn't all that bad, as long as you know how to control it. Unfortunately for Proctor, his lust got the best of him, which led him to serious trouble and extreme consequences, one being his life. While his wife, Elizabeth, was sick, Abigail was around and Proctor couldn't resist, resulting in a secret affair that could ruin his reputation. In the stage directions of "The Crucible," it states that Proctor was "looking at Abigail now, the faintest suggestion of a knowing smile on his face." This suggested that it was a mutual agreement to keep it swept under the rug. Be careful with this characteristic because if not controlled, can get you into deep, deep trouble. Watch it, "Lustful Proctor!" Your breaks from school/workare usually spent helping out family like babysitting your cousins or mowing your grandma's lawn full of many dates and parties If you had one wish, you'dmost likely wish for your celebrity crush to love you a long life with good heath for you and your loved ones SOURCES 1.)
