The Arctic ice thickness has already decreased by 40% over the past 30 years. Polar bears rely on the thick iceto hunts seals and many other animals. Without thick ice, polar bears wont live on earth much longer. Polar Bearsare having a difficult time finding food too. In fact, bears are feeling the effects of a shortage of food and are facing starvation. Therefore global warming is one of the biggestreasons for the decreasing numbers of polar bears. The polar bears walk a lot during the day in search of food. Currently due to global warming and the melting ice, the polar bears are moving deeper into the Arctic Circle. .
