Breaking Wheel (Catherine Wheel) This device composed of of a wheel wagon with radial spokes This device was used to torture and kill prisoners in public. Accuse where lashedto the wheel and their limbs where beatenby club or iron culdge. The gaps in the wheel allowed the limbs to give away and break. Some victims lived severaldays prior the mortal injuries
