Created with Fabric.js 1.4.5 Loyalists Patriots vs. Do we want to use rebellion and violence to solve our problems? Do we think that tyranny is best? Do you think that we deserve to be coveredin tar and feathers? If you said no to any of these questions, then supportBritain, and help us win the eventual revolution! We are often seen by Patriots as greedy people who want nothing more than money, or are simply too afraid of joining them. This is not true in the slightest. We just think that this violence is unnecessary. Sure, none of us enjoy taxes any more than the other colonist, but we shouldn't become tyrants. We stay on Britain's side becauseit's a powerful kingdom that offers us protectioneveryday. We also want to stay on Britain's side toavoid being attacked. However, every day we stillsuffer prejudice from not the British, but our fellowcolonists who threaten us. They cover us in tar andfeathers and make a fool out of us. A loyalist group, composed of Quakers from Phillidelphia, were arrestedby the patriots for showing their support for the British. The patriots shun us, take away out property, orattacked simply because we believed in somethingdifferent. We have to leave our homes to escape from anything the patriots might do. We respect our fellow colonists, but we think that this violence will eventually lead to tyranny. That is why we are asking you, those in between, thosewho are neutral. We ask you to join us because you maysoon find yourself covered in tar and feathers. We even ask that all you African-Americans, to join us. In exchange,we will give you your freedom. Please support us in the fightfor Britain! Works Cited "The Loyalists." Ushistory.org. Independence Hall Association. Web. 31 Oct. 2014Duffy, Shannon.
