DiagnosedThrough a newborn screening and more than 75% are diagnosed by the age of 2 Treatments:On a daily basis, patients have to clear airways by using ainflatable vest that vibrates thechest at a high frequency to helploosen and thin mucus, take inhaledmedicines to fight lung infections, and take a pancreatic enzyme supplement capsules with every meal.
