This is shown in the film when Anderton refuses to kill his son'smurderer, in his attempt to change his destiny. Minority Report discusses the role of the government in protectingit's citizens, and how far it should go. BROKEN FAMILY POLITICS vs. THE LAW With Anderton's family in pieces after the disappearance of his son,Spielberg put in his own experiences to convey Anderton's sorrow.
