However, by doing many simple things I cut it down to just 4 Earths For example, instead of coming home from school hungry and eating a hotdog, an apple from a local fruit stand would be better. If every American ate just half the meat they do eat, the world would use 645 million less acres then we do, and also cutting down packaging costs and waste. My estimated greenhouse gas emissions are 17 tons of carbon dioxide per year, which is below the U.S. average. Although my personal CO2 emission is 10 tons lower than the US average, that still doesn't mean that it's not too much. A big one myself and my can do is carpool. We go to dinner with the neighbors once or twice a month. Instead of "meeting them there" I could arrange a carpool. After dinner every night it is my job to do the dishes.If I just cut the amount of loads in half and hand wash some dishes, my numbers go down. another thing that should be done is lessen the time of my shower for even 1 minute. To wrap things up, me, as well as my family,classmates, and even thewhole world is "livin' large". In order to save our world, helth and money wise, we need to make some changes in the way we live.
