Created with Fabric.js 1.4.5 Bubonic Plague Evacuation The Bubonic plague is a deadly disease. The Bubonic Plague is also known as the pneumonic plague and Black death. It is caused by the bacteria Yersinia pestis. The disease is passed through fleas who feed on the rats. Then the fleas also feed on people causing them to get the disease. The symptoms are fever, chills, malaise, muscle pain, headaches, seizures, and lymph nodes. This disease is not common anymore because we have found an antibiotic as a cure. Earlier, before we found the cure, there was an epidemic. The plague causes the tonsils, adenoids, spleen, and thymus to swell. It was a terrible tragedy , killing many people within two to five days of having the disease. In conclusion, The Bubonic plague is very real and scary, but we can prevent it now. Paragraph #1 Decriptive Paragraph #2 Sequence Evacuations are something that occur more often than people realize. A good start to evacuate is to make sure the whole family is aware of what that plan is. Family’s should keep kits with some special, personal items, first aid kit, food, and more. There should be a meeting place if anything does happen that the whole family is aware of. It is good to practice these events and to stay calm. Evacuations come in many different sizes. It is important to stay safe in evacuations. There are some differences between someone with the bubonic plague and someone without it. For example, if you have the bubonic plague you will get a big black bump in the groin, armpit, or neck when the rest of your skin will be perfectly normal. The bump will also cut off your circulation, and if it grows on your neck it can close your windpipe which is very deadly. If you don’t have the plague, on the other hand, you won't suffer this horrible symptom. In conclusion, if you have the plague it will be noticeably different because of these symptoms. Paragraph #3 Compare and Contrast Evacuating the infected people out of the city is a very hard and important part. It takes many safety precautions. Along the way the helpers could get infected themselves. First, make sure the infected are isolated, but you also need to check on them. A smart idea would be keeping all the infected on the same vehicle of transportation so they can’t spread it along to other passengers. There are many ways to evacuate infected people. It is very important to evacuate the infected safely without spreading the disease. Paragraph #4 Problem and Solution When the bubonic plague started many things happened. One of the things was that panic hit the streets. Many people were leaving because they did not want the plague. Also, if you had or previously had the plague people would not take you in because they did not want to get sick. Finally, when the plague broke out not a lot of people wanted to go to Europe, for Europe is where the plague was. In conclusion, because of the plague there was a lot of panic by everyone.
