Created with Fabric.js 1.4.5 Stem cell Research adult stem cells can be found in some developed organs. these cells replace cells that die and also restore tissue after an injury.adult stem cells are tissue specific and can be found in the bone marrow, skin, and muscle. uses in medicine stem cells can be used to repair and replace damaged tissue, they can also be used to cure certain tissue specific diseases.today stem cells are being used in treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, other blood disorders, and some solid tumors.other uses: bone marrow transplants; healthy new leukocytes replace abnormal cells. Peripheral blood stem cells (PBSCs); found in the blood stream.Umbilical cord blood stem cell transplant; treats certain health problems similar to those treated by bone marrow stem cells diabeates two types Embryonic stem cells cells use specific signals to become the desired cell type.these cells come from a very early stage embryos and are not tissue specific but can become many different human cells. Stargardt’s disease the cells used are grown from embryonic stem cells. A surgeon injects retinal pigment epitheliums cells under the retina and these stem celss are used support the retina’s photoreceptors, ~cells that detect light and carry information to the brain. stem cells in diabetes are used to produce and create b -cells that secrete insulin. them cells come from embryonic cells due to the nature of the embryonic cells. conclusion personally I believe it is completely ethical to use embryonic stem cells. the are used to further research and are for the greater good when used properly. If embryonic stem cells can be used to eradicate many diseases, I view it as ethical. It is necessary to do research in order to same lives. The use of embryonic stem cells is not taking a life, but is saving one.
